Corn Distiller's Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) are a commodity by-product of the distillation process of corn.
This process starts with removing the bran by grinding before steeping the grain in water. This results in ethanol and various by-products. The wet cakes resulting from this process are then dried off, resulting in the DDGS feed product. DDGS is a valuable feed ingredient and has good levels of protein, moderate levels of fat, and low levels of fiber. DDGS can be fed to all types of livestock.
